MMC Matches Donations for Haiti Earthquake Relief

Merchandise Management Company is raising funds for the United Nations World Food Programmeand will match funds donated.  As the United Nations frontline agency in the fight against hunger, one of WFP’s main objectives is ensuring that in emergencies, the hungry get food fast.
WFP also works to help proactively to prevent hunger through programs that use food as a means to build assets, spread knowledge and nurture stronger, more dynamic communities. WFP has many areas of expertise, including Food Security Analysis, Nutrition, Food Procurement and Logistics to ensure the best solutions for the world's hungry.  WFP operations reach just over 102 million people with food assistance with beneficiaries in78 countries
