Great News for Kohl’s in 2009
Total sales for Kohl’s Corp. in May 2009 were up compared to May 2008. Year-to-date
sales also are ahead of 2008 with an increase of 1.3 percent! These increases have

Wall Street analyst Liz Dunn explains the sales increase in a time when many
other corporations are currently experiencing losses in sales, “Kohl's is
selling compelling merchandise at great prices. By focusing on offering value up
front, Kohl’s is giving customers an incentive to buy at the planned promotional
